Finally, it is autumn – my favourite season! The leaves change colour, Halloween is on its way and after Halloween, it is the Christmas countdown. I love nothing more than being able to bundle up in a coat and cosy scarf as winter fashion is by far my favourite.
I don’t usually like to use the term ‘goals’ in a literal sense as the thought of not achieving something I must say, makes me rather sad. But since I fell out of routine with my blog the last month, I think it would be a good idea if I made a little account of things I want to achieve in general for this month. I’m not making too many because when life happens, things don’t always go to plan – so overwhelming one’s self with too much only encourages failure in my opinion!
Firstly, baking. I love love, love baking. I used to bake quite a lot when I lived at home but being at Uni has a different dynamic! But I want to test out little recipes that I find and above all else – post really cute bakery insta photos! I also was given the cookbook Naturally Sassy by Saskia Gregson – Williams and I have been dying to try out some of her recipes also.
Sadly being a ‘night owl’, I find it very difficult to get to sleep most of the time. I have always wanted to be one of those people who could doze off early and wake up at the crack of dawn. Because when I do – I always feel so much more productive. I don’t necessarily lounge in bed until a ridiculous hour, I just want more of a structured routine! So this month I am going to try my hardest to get some early nights and wake up at a consistent time.
Insta posts – when I scroll through my feed, there are some accounts which have some of the nicest photos of outfits, books, food, etc. I really want to make my Instagram more exciting than it currently is, by posting more liberally and creatively.
So there are a few October ‘goals’, here’s hoping I shall stick to them!
What are your’s?
